D.A.R.T.S. (Dart Automotive Refurbishing Technical Services) was founded by me, Joel Cooper, in Connecticut in 1986. After having owned 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger 340's for many years I realized the need to communicate with other owners of high-performance Darts and Demons which were built from 1967-72.
I would like to share my 18 years experience with the 340 motor and the A-body Dart with others. The standard performance engine for the A-Bodies was the 340 V8. In some years, the 383, 440, and the Hemi engines also were available.
I have a reference library of parts books, shop manuals, factory literature and magazine articles in addition to 10 years of drag racing, 9 years of showing cars, and 3 years judging cars at shows.
